I have been making pottery here and there for over seventeen years. Taught and influenced by some of the greatest masters of clay at Bowling Green State University in Ohio, I gained a foundation of respect and appreciation for the material early on. My recent work includes functional pieces inspired by the contrast of order and chaos in nature, as well as modern graphic design.

The contrast of raw clay body against a glaze is what excites me most. We are all imperfect, and it's important to be our authentic selves so that we can live free from constraint. I carry this practice through my craft, and let the clay be what it's meant to. Listening, adapting, ever-changing.

I work out of my home studio in Raleigh, North Carolina.
